Heroes break the drought of losses

Last nights buml league match hotted the league up with an eyebrow raising win over the previously unbeaten ExQUisiTe. In proving that the pinkies were not indestructible, the green Heroes played well straight out of the blocks. At one stage being 3-0 up. ExQUisiTe rallied and pulled the score back to 3-2 with some well constructed offense. Both teams used the zone D well, with Heroes managing to keep ExQUisiTe from playing the game they wanted to. With the score still close, and pinned down on our own line, Carl aggressively hucked long to Chaddy to score with a outside in backhand. That kept us out in front and put the pressure back onto ExQUisiTe. Jangles stepped up and combined with Hoodie to put some scores on the board. All up ExQUisiTe put on something like 4 points in a row and brought the score back to 9 all. Then 5 min warning whistle blew and the game was in the balance.
Then player of the match Sean stepped up on D recording not once, not twice but three D blocks. This display of aggression was fantastic to see. He left his player and read the disc very well. The Heroes team responded and we lifted to run away scoring the last 3 points. The final score (contrary to the BUML website) was 12-9.
It was indeed sweet to take the win. All the heroes were happy to come away with it, we certainy had no idea what to expect as this was our first game against each other. With the cutting down of the league front runners, it appears that any team can come through on their own night to win the final. Heroes are planning on being there, who else will join us? Poachers? ExQUisiTe? Discheads? Dyspnoiecs? or will an outside runner take the crown? All we know is that time will tell, yes I know thats lame, tell me about it on the comments
