Hi all,
Late word in from Annerley via phone call just now is that they have closed the fields after this afternoon's storm.
The normal procedure is that they'd let us know by 4pm, and then if there was rain after that, Stu would inspect the field and make a decision to not turn the lights on if there was surface water (puddles) on the field.
However, the groundskeeper is at the field now and reports signficant groundwater, and it won't go away before 7.30pm.
If you are able to text or phone your team-mates if you know they aren't likely to be on email, they'll probably appreciate it.
